Kate earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biological Sciences from Missouri University of Science and Technology and a Master of Science degree in Environmental Science and Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. She is a Registered Professional Engineer in Colorado. She has experience in soil and site evaluations and specializes in design and management of residential and commercial on-site wastewater treatment systems. Kate has taught as an adjunct professor at the Colorado School of Mines, is the Executive Director of the Colorado Professionals in Onsite Wastewater, serves on the National Association of Wastewater Technicians board as the Colorado representative and is the Designer Representative for the National Onsite Wastewater Recycling Association board.

Natalie earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Health from Georgia College & State University. She worked for Tri-County Health Department for 7.5 years as an Environmental Health Specialist and Environmental Health Supervisor enforcing local and state regulations for onsite wastewater treatment systems. Natalie is active with the Colorado Environmental Health Association (CEHA). She has been the water and wastewater presentation track lead for three years. She also serves as the secretary for the CEHA Board managing both meetings and memberships for the association.
